- Another online collaboration tool.  TodaysMeet is the first one that I have seen that is not in whiteboard format.  They advertise themselves as a backchannel for of chat.  You provide a name for your room, give a length of time for it to exist, and then it creates a URL for your chatroom.  It would be a good way for your students to communicate with you outside of school, or even a way to have a discussion without the fear of embarrassment for opinions or mistakes.  I could see it come in handy in a college lecture classroom because with the room you can encourage the room to use the live stream to make comments, ask questions, and use that feedback to tailor your presentation, sharpen your points, and address audience needs.
